The experience
Pre-shoot cONsultation
This will be booked prior to your photoshoot. During this session, I want to learn more about you, your dog and what you enjoy. I will use this time to guide you through the process of preparing for your shoot. This will include styling, dog prep and hair and makeup advice for the girls that wear it. The consultation will take place either over the phone or on zoom and usually takes around 30 minutes.
Session Preparation
You will receive a personalised welcome pack in the post, full of advice on how to prepare for your photoshoot, alongside a couple of treats for you and your dog. I have created a step-by-step guide on how to get yourself, your dog and your location ready for the session. It's SHOOT time!
Now it is time for the most exciting part, your photo shoot! We will start the session by meeting your dog and having some puppy cuddles. After this we can explore your location and I’ll pick out the backdrops that will use during your shoot. Your job is simply to keep smiling, loving your dog and looking beautiful.
The finishing touch
I take your precious photographs back to my studio where I hand edit your images. I start by selecting out the very best photographs from our session, this is usually between 60 - 100 images.
YOUR VIEWING EXPERIENCE
For you, this is probably the most emotional part of the experience. Once I have made sure that your images are totally perfect, I will contact you to arrange your private viewing. During the appointment, you will view a stunning set of images in a slideshow. After the slideshow, you will be able to go through and pick out your favourites. We will then work together, picking stunning products and creating wall art out of your favourite images.

The whole morning just felt very natural which transpires in the photos. Sophie is an AMAZING photographer but very chilled which is a fantastic combination. We couldn't have asked for better photos than we received. The photos are ABSOLUTELY stunning- me and my husband have the best Christmas present ever with beautiful memories of our family and dogs to treasure forever. Friends and family are totally in awe of our photos, and we continue to get compliments from anyone that sees them. We can't thank Sophie enough for the very special photos that only make us all smile every time we look at them but made me cry as they are so beautiful.
