I look forward to shows... there's something so special about seeing everything come together and it really does make me appreciate how lucky I am to call this work!
So as always the most important part of this blog is to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who supports us and makes these shows worth while for us.
That being said, at 5am yesterday morning, I was definitely starting to question my sanity as we loaded up to head to a very grey, damp showground.
Setting up in the rain is never ideal but as always, we powered through and got everything ready to go.
Thankfully, the weather had better plans for the afternoon…
The clouds lifted, the sun came out, and we were treated to such a gorgeously busy day!
The best part (as always) was catching up with so many of my lovely clients. Seeing familiar faces and hearing all your updates —it honestly means the world. Alongside that, we also had the pleasure of meeting lots of new people—many of whom we’re now so excited to be working with soon!
Of course… a Pimm’s or two may have been enjoyed along the way too🍹
This show also marked the first outing for our brand new and improved stand—and WOW what a difference! A bigger gazebo (thank you Gala Tent!) meant no more soggy gap between tents and—touch wood—no near-misses with it flying into the main ring like a few years ago 😅 Along with new flooring and a few extra finishing touches, it really felt like a proper little home for the day.
