Hello,
I'm Sophie
rural life Photographer
I know you’re looking for a photographer who creates beautiful, natural images that you can feel proud to have up on display in your home – that’s exactly what I do, so let's get creative!
I'm Sophie, rural life photographer and lover of all things country and horses. As a keen horsewoman from the age of 3 years old, I can hand on heart say that horses are my favourite thing on this earth, closely followed by my love of capturing the connection between animals and their humans.
This awesome dude pictured here is my boy, Cruise. He is quite the celebrity amongst his friends, he's known for sneaking over to beg for sandwiches and soup from anyone having a picnic. I mean how could anyone say no to this face!
Having had Cruise in my life for the last 10 years, I understand the importance of capturing beautiful portraits with the person I actually spend most of my time with.
The joy of turning up at each shoot to capture the relationship between a horse and their human is second to none. We spend most of our time in jodhpurs, cleaning up after the horses so let's flip the coin, have a really lovely day and I'll make sure you look glamorous and beautiful.
At home, my partner and I have a collie puppy called Fern. We love an evening at the pub, spending time on Exmoor, and laughing a lot.

I absolutely LOVE country music and if it's playing at your wedding I will absolutely be singing along with you!

In 2025, I received 3 awards for my client photography work. Specifically in the equine, canine and rural life niche.

I am very much a cosy girl at heart, on editing days you'll find me in my office, tucked up under a blanket with a candle lit and a hot chocolate.
