From the moment I met Mette and her amazing Mum, Fiona, I knew that we were in for a fun filled afternoon, the atmosphere was 10/10, the sun was shining and Donato looked a million dollars, gleaming from ear to tail thanks to their amazing groom Sally. For this gorgeous boy to look as incredible as he does at 19 years old is true credit to how Mette, her family and their exceptional team truly cherish their horses.

Once we raided Mette's wardrobe for 3 jaw-dropping outfits, we styled up the first look and made a start!


With Mette and Fiona knowing Donato as well as they do, they were confident he would take everything in his stride. It's safe to say he did not let them down, he was foot perfect from start to finish. We made the most of the scenery during the photoshoot taking Donato round the grounds of the house using the entrance, driveway, tree's and gorgeous colours of the gardens to create beautiful back drops for the images.


We even convinced Fiona to join in for some gorgeous mother-daughter photographs. These are always some of my absolute favourite photographs to shoot because I know how treasured the final images truly are especially as time goes by.

Mette and Donato have had so much success together and recently won all of the U25 CDI classes at wellington,  in their first Grand Prix at high-profile level together. I am so looking forward to watching this partnership grow into next season and to photographing Mette and her family again in the future.
