The end of the 2023 show season!
That's it the last two shows of the year complete, this year we have attended the most shows we have ever been to and it has been an absolute pleasure welcoming you all to my stand. We have had so much fun consuming lots of ice creams, the occasional pimms and socialising with lots of other trade stands along the way!
As always a special thank you to my amazing support crew consisting of my Mum (Lucy), Auntie (Sandra) and friend (Chloe) who never fail to believe in my mad ideas and continue to travel up and down the countryside with me to welcome you all onto the stand.
Dunster Show
The weekend started on the Friday at the amazing Dunster Show which took place on the 18th August, the show began with an early start with my team in tow to set up for a busy day. Fortunately the wet weather held off and we were able to enjoy a busy show with lots of visitors coming to say hello and book in for 2024.
It's safe to say that we all did our own shopping supporting lot's of other small businesses in the local area whilst we were at the show coming home with the addition of jewellery, a tweed jacket for Mum and a highland cow head... made out of wood to go up on the wall, don't worry!
MID SOMERSET SHOW
Saturday 20th August saw us take the stand to the Mid Somerset Show, Chloe and myself attended bright and early to set up and get ready for the day ahead. With blue sky and gorgeous sunshine from the minute we arrived, we knew we were in for another cracking day.
It was an absolute delight greeting so many past clients and friends to the stand. We also really enjoyed talking to lots of new clients who we had met earlier in the year at other shows too. At each show we look for new things to try and make the stand just a little bit better each time, on this occasion it was the addition of dog biscuits to the stand for our 4 legged friends and it's safe to say they went down very well and meant we got lots of puppy cuddles too. So what's not to love!
