Ashley and Katrina’s wedding day was a beautifully relaxed celebration, set against the rural backdrop of the family farm deep in the countryside of Devon. With farming roots at its heart, the day felt grounded, personal, and completely true to them.

The morning began with bridal prep at a lovely nearby property. It was calm and unhurried, full of quiet excitement and easy conversation as everyone got ready. These moments perfectly reflected Ashley and Katrina’s approach to the day—low-key, genuine, and focused on simply enjoying being surrounded by the people who matter most. From there, we headed to church for the ceremony. Traditional and meaningful, it was a heartfelt moment shared with family and friends.

After the ceremony, we made a stop up on the moor for photos. With sweeping views and open skies, it was the perfect setting for relaxed portraits that suited them perfectly—natural, unfussy, and full of character. The wind was ever-present throughout the day, adding movement and atmosphere to the images rather than getting in the way.

The celebrations then continued back at the family farm for the afternoon reception. The farm provided an incredible backdrop, with space to breathe, chat, and enjoy the day at an easy pace. Group photos were full of personality and fun, and we leaned into the conditions with some creative flare shots that brought a playful edge to the gallery.

As evening approached, the light turned golden and we headed out again for one of my favourite parts of the day—golden hour with the cows. With the sun dipping low over the fields, we captured some truly unique images that felt so fitting for a wedding rooted in farming life. It was the perfect way to reflect Ashley and Katrina’s world and the place that means so much to them.
