We were fortunate enough to have a beautiful shoot with Sophie back in July and we couldn’t recommend her enough. Sophie is just the loveliest person who makes you feel incredibly comfortable in front of the camera and her eye for detail and locations is incredible. I really couldn’t see any areas of our yard that would produce pretty backdrops but Sophie arrived and immediately saw 4/5 locations that produce the most gorgeous photos! THE Experience

Pre shoot chat

Having your photograph taken is such a personal experience, I want you to be comfortable with me from the very beginning. Our pre shoot chat can be done via phone, video call or email and allows me to start learning your story. It gives you the perfect opportunity to ask me all the questions you may have and then decide whether you’d like to go ahead with your session.
​If you’d like to go ahead, this is the perfect time to get a date in the diary. Once we have chosen a date, I will send an invoice for 50% of the photoshoot experience.

Session Preparation

You will receive your welcome pack in the post, full of advice on how to prepare for your photo session alongside a couple of treats for you and your horse. I understand just how nerve wracking it can be to step in front of the camera and that’s before we add a horse into the mix. I have created a step-by-step guide on how to get yourself, your horse and your location ready for the session. If you’re after further outfit inspiration, my instagram is perfect for outfit, make-up and hair inspiration.
​If at any point, you’re unsure on anything please just contact me. The remaining balance for your session is due 1 week before the session takes place.

It's SHOOT time!

Now it is time for the most exciting part, your photo shoot! We will start the session by meeting your horse and having some pony cuddles. After this we will do a location scout together, this is so that we can create a loose shoot plan. You can show me where you’d like to take some photos and I’ll more than likely spot a few backdrops that will create some beautiful images to go alongside them. A lot of people are nervous about how to stand throughout the photoshoot, don’t you worry, making you look your best is my area of expertise. Whilst my style is natural photographs, I’ll direct some poses. Your job is to keep smiling, loving your pony and looking beautiful.

POST SHOOT EDITING

This is where the images start to come alive!
I take your precious photographs home and back them up multiple times, no loosing images over here! The editing process is very simple. I start by selecting out the very best photographs from our session, this is usually between 60 - 100 photos.  I will then go through each image individually and make any fine adjustments, this simply means cropping, straightening and polishing until they’re perfect for you.

YOUR VIEWING EXPERIENCE

For you, this is probably the most emotional part of the experience. Once I have made sure that your images are totally perfect, you will receive an online gallery for you to view your photographs. Happy tears are normal, I promise you are not alone. As part of your photo session fee, you will receive either a 8 inch mounted print/16” framed print/beautiful album, so you will select your favourite photograph(s) for this. This is also the opportunity to purchase framed prints, canvases and prints from your session. The price guide will be sent to you ahead of your sess`ion.
Once you have decided what you would like to order, I will guide you through the process until your beautiful frames, canvas' and prints are all ready for you. If you are local I will hand deliver these to you personally, if not you will have the option to collect them or for them to be posted straight to your door.
