I guess what I really mean is... why not? As much as you try to deny it, that great big slobbery beast of yours that eats £50 notes at a rate of Knots, is actually your best friend. If you were to ever to loose them, that photo shoot is your memories. This is exactly why I started doing this, I LOVE that I can create art that reminds you of your favourite moments with your horse. Yes we have the millions of photos on our phones, maybe a sneaky behind the ears pic or cheeky selfie but would you or should I say could you get those professionally framed and up on the wall. Reality is no you couldn't. As amazing as they look on our screens and on Facebook, the chances are they wouldn't blow up to make a beautiful piece of artwork. Maybe, just once, it would be nice to have some photographs of you the two of you, where you aren't covered in mud or with hay in your hair. In all honesty, I know why you put off having your photograph taken, but is it valid? Heck no. I HATE getting in front of the camera and I AM a photographer but do I do it? Hell yes. I know the value of photos. I know that I have gorgeous photos with my boy that I will treasure forever. So let me put your mind at ease... I promise you, the moment that we meet and start shooting, all your nerves will disappear. Believe it or not, you might even enjoy it! Have a look at my 'What to Expect during an Equine Photoshoot' blog, it takes you through your whole shoot from start to finish, so you know exactly what will happen. P.S. If you ever have to receive the dreaded news, that you are going to have to say goodbye to your best friend. Please just ring me, message me or email me. I always prioritise 'goodbye' shoots no matter how late notice so never think 'it's too late', I will make time. You might cry, I might join you but at the end of the day these photo shoots are SO precious, you will be forever thankful that you did it.
