 This shoot was SOOOOO my jam! Nothing makes my creative heart sing quite like photographing families in the places they love most. For most of my clients including Andy and Alex, Tim, Megan and baby Rex that place is 100% the farm – surrounded by golden fields, wide open skies, and friends of the four legged kind! 'We were so lucky to be invited along to have these beautiful photos taken by the incredible @sophieedmundsphotography. She was so relaxed and helped us to feel completely at ease. I truly feel that she managed to capture who we are and she was utterly fabulous with Rex! She is pretty incredible at what she does and I would highly recommend her to anyone wanting to capture some natural and heartwarming moments as a family 🫶🏻 ' - Megan
From the moment we began the shoot, this session was going to be filled with laughter, warmth, and lots of fun. The wheat and barley fields made for the perfect backdrop, glowing in that golden hour light, while the dogs obviously stole the show with their big smiles and wagging tails.  Okay, let's be honest this photoshoot was originally going to be all about Andy & Alex but when they suggested seeing if Andy's brother Tim and his Wife, Megan with their baby boy Rex were up for coming down to join in at the end, I was all for it!
The whole shoot flowed so naturally, with plenty of laughter and entertainment. Nothing too posed or formal – just the family being themselves in a setting that means so much to them. From walking through the fields to simply enjoying the late afternoon sunshine, the photos captured a relaxed, easygoing kind of happiness. 
The gun although not a planned feature looked incredible and was a subtle nod to country life. It’s these small, personal touches that make a session feel truly authentic. The images weren’t just about looking at the camera – they were about documenting a lifestyle, a home, and the bond this family shares with one another and the land around them.  This photogenic family were an absolute pleasure to photograph. Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to capture these scrummy images!
