On a sunny Sunday morning in October, I headed to the stunning Westonbirt arboretum to catch up with the lovely Sam and Jade. I'd had the pleasure of meeting Sam and Jade at our stand at the Bath and West Show where we were delighted when they decided to book us as their wedding photographers! So the time had come for their pre-wedding shoot and having spotted the gorgeous colours of the scenery at Westonbirt Arboretum we decided that this was the best place for the shoot. Sam and Jade absolutely smashed their photoshoot, despite being a bit nervous they soon settled in and relaxed. This is totally normal and exactly why I always do Pre-wedding shoots. If I'm totally honest it's not really about the photos, it's about becoming friends, getting to know each other better and making sure you feel comfortable in front of the camera in preparation for the big day, the photographs are just a bonus! In fact, at nearly every wedding I've photographed, guests have assumed I've known the bride and groom personally for years before coming their photographer but the truth is I just love getting to know my couples and make sure I meet them enough times prior to the wedding that on the day, I blend in as a friend not just a photographer. If you can't tell already, I'm very much skip the awkward stranger stage, we're friends now! It was sooo chilled as we walked around the woodland talking wedding plans, work and the crazinesss that is life. Oh and obviously playing in the leaves was an essential part of the shoot too... it's all about having fun for me. I am sooooo excited for Sam and Jades wedding in July, I just know it's going to be the most lovely day.
Thank you so much for trusting me with your memories and for allowing me to capture these gorgeous images! Comments are closed.
