Carl & Ellie- THe engagment

This was one of THE CUTEST engagement shoots I've ever done!

Carl arranged a family portrait experience for his gorgeous family and then gave me a call a couple of weeks before the date to give me the 'heads up' about his secret mission.  He asked Ellie the big question amongst the sea of bluebells in their woodland at home, it was truly special!

We started the photoshoot just like any other capturing lots of natural shots whilst going for a walk up through the woodland and having a chat. Wilfred was unbelievably photogenic and it's safe to say I made a new friend by the end of the shoot.

Of course, the dogs came with us too so I took the opportunity to capture some gorgeous images of them too!

Then it was time for the special moment, when Carl went down on one knee! I think the photographs say it all! Ellie was shocked and over joyed, she had no idea that it had been planned all along. 

We captured a few lovely shots of them both together with my little helper Wilfred before heading back down towards the farm for a few family shots and a splash in the stream.
